I love this location, especially proximity to Central Park, restaurants, and subways. The apartment itself is beautiful - the big windows and recent renovations are a huge plus. On the down side, this apartment is very expensive, even for the neighborhood. there is often quite a wait for elevators (especially the service elevator, which is the only way to access the laundry room). Every single week there has been a disruption to the water (bathroom & kitchen water lines routinely shut down for hours at a time). I also strongly dislike the practice of sending delivery people up to apartments, rather than dropping deliveries at the front desk or having the doormen take deliveries up to apartments.

We have lived here now for seven month and have enjoyed out time here. The staff is such key component to what makes this place so special from our first entrance working closely with Jody to the doormen and maintenance workers everyone is efficient and helpful. I appreciate that there is work from home space, as sometimes construction can be noisy and seems like it can be frequent. I hope that rent stays consistent in the following years as we would love to continue our time here. It has been a great experience.
