Solid basic apt
I've lived in the neighborhood for about 5 years and have been in this apartment for 2. The mini fridge is a huge bummer, prepare to lose money on being unable to freeze food. However, the maintenance people are kind, and the email responses are much faster than in other places I have lived. It is NYC, so price is always going to be ridiculous, but relatively, less ridiculous than the rest of the city.

Great Apartment, Great Location
I have lived in this building for the last year. I love the building and the location. The staff has been super responsive when maintenance issues arise. The street is quiet especially given the lively neighborhood we are in. Highly recommend living here!
Living at 620 E 11th
I really liked the area for the 11 months that I lived in. Though the apartment is small, I enjoyed it and appreciated Bernards devotion to making the living situation as pleasant as possible.
Review
Construction going on in the building, heat broke multiple times over winter with no rent abatement. Landlord refuses to negotiate with current tenants even though they’ve been good tenants, raises the rent by insane amount. Maintenance is great though and always come to help when needed. It’s not their fault the heat is busted and leaves us absolutely freezing, needing to stay at friends houses despite the high rent we pay
