Upstairs neighbor noisy during night. It sounds as if boxes are being thrown & draws slamming.

Living here has been a blast, it feels like a private oasis in the middle of the city. I have lived here for 2.5 years with my wife Erica and we actually got married while living here. It can be quite comforting with the curtains and windows shut in the winter and relaxing with a candle or with the A/C on in the summer. It feels like a private movie theater and the studio's have a convenient layout with high ceilings and easy to move around in. The only thing is that my apartment is a bit outdated and can use some new appliances and fixtures.

Great location! Apartment itself is nice but not the best upkeep-- old appliances, old plumbing, but maintenance has been good about responding.

Hello! I have lived here for the past 2 years, it has been a great experience as we are close to Central Park and many food stores like TJ's and Whole Foods. Plus the management and maintenance have been great and very quick to respond.

Pros: excellent location, pretty quiet, decent sized studio with private patio, good closet space. They have just begun to renovate the interior halls - looks SO much better now. But now I am leaving so... Cons: Most of the time I lived there (9 mos) the door/lock to the building was broken - this is a problem especially now as holiday packages arrive and there's a lot of theft happening. The building responds not by securing the locks but telling the tenants to track their packages because theft is a problem everywhere. The space should be deep cleaned after each resident vacates- when I moved in there was a good amount of old dust and grime in the corners of the floors and crevices. They should really provide a window shade for the single long window in the room - that should not be left to the expense of people renting, especially since it's advertised as a short term apartment. The lights are bright from the buildings across and I guess the blue safety light outside the patio door. The building's exterior is the ugliest of all the building on this otherwise nice street. Chipping paint and ratty looking front entrance.

Heating this month was disruptive but otherwise was ok.
