I have found Villas del Cielo very convenient for attending UNM. It is a quick drive to campus from here. I also really like my very large bedroom. It holds a queen size bed, a dresser, side table, 2 desks and a small refrigerator for my medical supplies. Plus, the floor plan is well laid out for two roommates because each get a full bathroom with a large closet. The only issue is having the washer and dryer in a bathroom and suggest that any updates would relocate them to the kitchen/dining area for ease of roommate sharing.

Living here has been mostly, a 4*, staff is great in all areas of the property. I have lived here since May 2018. There are things that need attention, and as I see it at this time owners are trying to get help. And the leasing staff have things going on property that it can make their job very difficult in leasing. That's for the 4* and I see improvement, is trying to be reached, good luck to reach your highest successes 5*

Apartment is not a $1200/mo apartment. Poor repair between renters ie: kick plates under bathroom cabinets are missing and are just open areas. No cover over where washer/dryer hoop is so vent for dyer is just another open area. Apartment (no "upgraded one available") is just old and out dated and "worn" looking. Certainly no what I would expenct for the cost. However, location was great for the short tern use that as needed and availability in Albuquerque was not plentiful.

My college student enjoys living here. Her apartment layout is ideal for both going to school and work from home during these past two Covid years. She is also fairly close to UNM campus and only 20 min from home. She enjoys watching the sunset from the west side balcony. She enjoys her privacy. All the neighbors are nice. I think the only major problem is that the washer and dryer are old enough to never work 100% well. Maintenance is inadequate and they never truly fix the problem. Therefore, she must bring most of the laundry home. I like that, but we are paying for a washer and dryer amenity. Maybe it's time for new machines. It is also time for new carpet. I have personally gone in and used my carpet cleaning Bissell and the water is black after I clean the carpet. The prior roommate, who has now since moved out, was not the cleanliest and we have had to deal with that post move out. Ultimately, my child loves living at this complex on her own.
