9 years. Hard to figure out how to get general maintenance for war adn tear repairs.

Great community. Dee is the best, bery sccomodating Wish the Doberman dog in buildging C wasnt allowed as noted in our lease

The units are in decent shape, but very old. There is little to no sound insulation, meaning despite going to painstaking lengths to put down rugs and fill empty spaces with furniture, we can hear entire conversations between neighbors. As I am writing this, I can hear the neighbor on one side of me having a phone conversation at 9:45 p.m. The appliances work but are very old and the dishwasher came to us with quite a bit of mold that I worked hard to scrub out. The unit is slightly overpriced for the area, where you can easily find other 2 bedrooms with similar amenities for much less money. On the positive side, it is a great location and the grounds are kept up really well. Dee is wonderful super and is extremely responsive to our needs.

Living at Commonwealth Gardens has been an incredible experience. The management is exceptionally understanding, and the community itself is peaceful, walkable, and incredibly safe. I can't say enough good things about this charming little neighborhood in Upper Montclair. While there aren't any on-site amenities, the vibrant town offers plenty to see and do, making it a truly wonderful place to call home.
