I've been here for a short period of time, but things seem to be very acceptable

The temperature inside my room is only 55*F in winter. The walls are thin, I can hear everything said by my neighbour.

Great location for anyone commuting into NYC. The place is always clean and well kept by the resident manager. Apartment is safe and secure. However there is no parking available and it can become an hassle having to find where to park (specially since there's no overnight street parking in SO). The laundry room only accepts quarters, which can be challenging to get at times. The walls are paper thin. I can hear everything - from my upstair neighbor's music to my next door neighbor's phone conversations.

I enjoy living in the building. Everything I need is nearby and the unit is comfortable. Staff is usually available and capable. Some fellow tenants complain about slightly louder noise as though walls are not thin enough, but everyone is generally neighborly and kind. Mail/packages are handled well, and so is garbage and recycling. Public transportation is available whichever way you go, including trains & buses. Good(great) food in the area and cultural/festive events are held in the area regularly. I would recommend!

Many residents are using space heaters and turning on the oven to heat their apartment.

The building is generally clean and the laundry facilities are well kept. There is no parking but the location is desirable so there is a trade off there. Overall, this building is pretty good for the price.
