The Harrison

The apartment I live in itself is decent but everything outside of it is falling apart, poorly maintained, and/or just mediocre. Far too expensive for what we get out of it.

Maintence are great but understaffed for this size building. Office hours arent considtent Public areas are often filfthy Side door is very heavy, hard to get in/ out with groceries/ luggage Pool, lack of umbrellas, cushions to lounges are ripped/ stained-top canvas never replaced from storm 2 years ago Lifeguards are not trained, often dont speak english, have no idea how to contact management office, even when police are called, There should be a senior rent price

Overall a bad experience living here. But still, it's the only thing that's actually feasible when it comes to the cost of everything. So I guess if we go with the cost it's not bad for what you get, but also pretty bad because the building I live in is just absolute mess.

I moved into a one bedroom at the Harrison in April 2021- my first apartment and first time on my own. So far its been a good experience ezcept for the fact I had no AC all summer and didnt know it. Finally they installed a new window unit and the heat didnt work when it started to get cold! I was able to get maintenace over here and they replaced it AGAIN which inproved the heat but I still rely on a little portable heater to get me by. Tenants arent too friendly and I feel very lonely and stranded on this highway as I do not drive. However the staff is top notch and I love the pool and gym. I think it is a good transition spot for me and other students/young professionals as I decide where to go long term.
