Beautiful Space, poor parking, questionable amenities

The units are truly beautiful; open floor plans, wood floors, natural light, a ton of character and charm. The location is great, near a CVS, metro transit, and in Dundee. The biggest issues are the required wireless internet connectivity issues, parking- there are passes, but it is rarely enforced, and laundry. there are 2 units to be shared by all tenants, which has the tenant to unit ratio pretty high, oftentimes one is out of order, making it almost impossible to get laundry done at times.

Love the natural light and charm

The building has a lot of character and I've loved living here. Natural light and wood floors with a great location- proximity to Dundee and ORBT in perfect. However, there could be better maintenance in the stairwells and lots during snowy months, and additional W/D for all units. 2 for all tenants is just not enough and leaves you waiting. Communication with property manager is also slow.

Review

Some more focused care on the parking lot in the winter is desperately needed. There was far too much ice that could have been salted or treated, but nothing was done. Shoveling just the walkways and plowing once isnt enough. In our unit, the ventilation in the kitchen is very poor. Opening the window and door isnt even enough. A built in fan or vent hood over the range is required. We are thrilled with the interior otherwise. Lots of character, space, and the high ceilings are wonderful. It has certainly been a home in those regards.
