The move in process was difficult. It is hard to speak to a live person. The dedicated line is a voicemail tree which is not answered. We encountered the same issue upon arrival to the location. We had to call for about 10 minutes. Upon moving in, we were told there is no place to park for loading and unloading personal property unless you are in your assigned space or a visitor space. Prior to leaving, we set up a time for move in since we were traveling from out of state. Unfortunately, upon arrival our unit was not ready and was delayed 3 hours for cleaning. We were not allowed to see the apartment until AFTER we signed a lease, paid the security deposit, and first months rent. When we asked if the unit had pets prior to us they indicated that they did not know. The condition of the unit was fair. This is an old building and the apartments present as such. The cabinets are particle board covered with contact paper. Two drawers were broken in the kitchen, both window seals were broken, the stove was missing drip pans, baseboard heating, and the lighting fixture had a broken base from the bulb. Maintenance did come right away the next morning to fix the drawers and lighting. The grounds are not taken care of at this apartment complex. Immediately we noticed trash around the exterior of the building, and shopping carts in the parking lot turned sideways. We found used needles laying on the ground in the parking lot. Many of the garages have damage to the door, paint, and or frames. Several of the garages are broken and or missing doors. The stalls with no door have standing trash all over the floor, one even had an old kitchen cupboard and sink. Many of the exterior lights are not working in the parking lots. I suspect that this building offers some of the lowest rent in Fargo. However, there is not a lot of care taken to maintain this complex.
