It's fairly quiet here, pretty much clean.

Wish there was an elevator in the building

Its hasn't been so bad. Better than some of the other places I lived in Bismarck. Maintenance has been good the past couple of years, had some issues when we first moved in with them ignoring my requests but it hasn't been a problem as of late. Staff are usually pretty quick to respond to calls or emails.

Everything is well maintained and kind to help.

Love my place! I like that the halls are kept clean. My apartment wasn't very clean when I moved in. Their reason was because they were trying to get me in as fast as possible. I understand that. I was told that it wasn't PERFECTLY clean. Behind and under the refrigerator wasn't cleaned not even swept, strange considering a new fridge was installed. When I pulled out the stove, I found a paper plate, 12 cat toys and miscellaneous other dirt stuff and crud. The shower seat is missing, I was told it would be put in within 2 weeks. I've been here 2 months and still no seat. The toilet was sooooo gross. There was pee all around the hinges. There were a lot of places on the floor that the manager called skid marks. A couple of weeks I took a wash cloth to the floor and they wiped right up. I figured that the painter had wiped up when he got paint on the floor across the grain leaving paint in the cracks and a smudge of paint on the floor. The day I moved into the apartment i had only been walking around for an hour and my feet were black. Hhmmm when I commented this to the manager he tried to tell me that they had the floors professionally cleaned. How does that explain the stuff under the stove and fridge or the paint smudged on the floor. Where is the line drawn between not perfect or just plain not cleaned. The worse for me is that they are not accepting responsibility for this. They are blaming me cuz i was in a hurry to move in. I got that too but where is the professionalism. I'd feel bad if I was the manager and would have agreed that is not acceptable instead of blaming me. Oh i forgot the lights were burned out in the garage, again I was told they'd get replaced right away. Well they have not been and now this time of year it gets dark early and I often come into a dark garage. I'd like to say the employees in the office are really nice people. And I appreciated the effort to get me in as fast as possible. Just bummed I was made to feel it was my fault
