I’ve lived here for over a year and a half, and at first I loved it. Great amenities, friendly leasing staff, responsive maintenance, and fun community events. Unfortunately, major changes this year have completely soured the experience. Parking: What used to be free and convenient has become a nightmare. They first gave many resident spaces to NHID, then introduced $50 reserved spots. Now, reserved parking is gone and residents are charged $50 per car just to park—so $100 a month for us. On top of that, they’ve closed parts of the garage for “more spots” (making it twice as long to get through) and allow retail visitors after 5 PM, right when residents are coming home. Guest parking is now limited to 5 24 hour passes a month, with extra fees after that (or if guests are parking for less than 24 hours). In short, we will have to pay more but fight harder for worse parking. Community: Events used to be a highlight of our experience. There were happy hours, pool parties, trivia, monthly yoga, etc. Now they’re rare, low-effort, poorly timed (like noon on a Wednesday), and barely attended. The sense of community has evaporated. Staff: The leasing office had an overhaul, and the new team doesn’t seem to advocate for residents the way the old staff did. At the start of this year I would’ve given CH 5 stars. But with the parking chaos, decline of community events, and new staff, it’s clear Kane is prioritizing profit over residents. Very unlikely we’ll renew.

But what truly sets this place apart is its array of amenities. You're greeted with the feeling of being whisked away to a luxurious resort. There's no shortage of ways to indulge in relaxation and recreation. Adding to the allure of this already remarkable community are the engaging events hosted by the management. Management in this building is always thinking of fun and creative ways for us tenants to get out of our comfort zone and connect with our neighbors. Moreover, the location of the apartment is undeniably appealing. Situated in a burgeoning neighborhood teeming with excitement, there's always something new to explore. The ongoing construction projects in the area promise even more amenities and attractions in the near future, further enhancing the appeal of this dynamic locale. However, it's worth noting that the only downside to this otherwise idyllic living experience is the parking situation. With the recent addition of retail spaces sharing the parking lot, availability has become increasingly limited for us tenants.

Channel House, like most Kane properties is an incredible place to live. The location is awesome, just a short walk to countless bars and restaurants and the in house amenities are top notch. Most of all, Channel House has an incredibly friendly and helpful staff, including the property managers and maintenance crew.

I have lived here about a month now and have had mostly good experiences! The parking is great for residents, but not so great for guests (they need to park all the way on the 8th floor.) The units are beautiful and sleek, and the amenities are lovely and well-kept. The prices are great for all of the space you get as well! It is a new building, so they are getting the hang of keeping up with work orders. Some entry doors still don't work.
