You get what you pay for. The section I live in is pretty quiet outside. Inside it is easy to hear your neighbors and their conversations. Fortunately what is most important is there, you just have to put in some work.

The apartment size is a decent size. The maintenance is never done in a timely manner. They always claim to be short staffed and work orders are always on backorder until you make a fuss. Then they will come out to access the issue and make assumptions on what needs to be done and never come back until you send an angry follow up email. The only thing they actually fix in a timely manner is leaking or slow drain. The circuit breakers are outdated. You will not be able to use multiple electrical items without blowing a fuse. The mailboxes are broken unable to receive mail. The windows are not insulated the apartment will be cold in the winter. The entire complex needs to be renovated to meet current day standards. The management office does not follow up with anything. A place to live however will not recommend to anyone.

This location could use a lot of upgrades and improvements. Communicating with staff could also use improving.

Resident Review – Long-Term Tenant with Ongoing Concerns I’ve been a resident in this community for over a decade, across four different apartments—three in Foxfire and one in The Cloisters. Throughout this time, I’ve consistently paid rent on time (with only one exception in all those years), kept a clean unit, and followed the rules. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for how the rules are enforced or how tenants are treated. It’s become increasingly clear that certain residents are treated as "favorites" or "office pets," while others are disregarded. This uneven treatment creates a sense of favoritism that affects the atmosphere of the community. I’ve attempted many times—both in person and through written communication—to voice legitimate concerns and bring attention to unresolved issues. Each time, I’ve been met with indifference or no follow-up at all. It seems like the current office management lacks the willingness or initiative to resolve tenant concerns, no matter how valid they are. What’s most frustrating is the lack of transparency and communication. I’m often left in the dark about important matters affecting my living environment. As someone who takes pride in being a respectful and responsible tenant, it’s disheartening to feel ignored. I would think that long-term, reliable residents would be valued—not overlooked. At this point, I’ve exhausted all options at the local office level. I’ve even attempted to escalate the matter to higher management, but the effort fell through, and the issues persist. I’m no longer interested in speaking with the office. What I would appreciate now is a meaningful opportunity to communicate directly with ownership or regional/district management—someone who values tenant feedback and is willing to listen and take action. I’m sharing this review in hopes that it leads to better accountability, improved communication, and a fairer experience for all tenants—not just a select few.
