I have been living here going on 4 years. I have 0 complaints. I am close to everything that I need/want. It is quiet here, not a lot going on. Staff here are wonderful. I just wish there was better parking for visitors.

I recently chose to move out primarily due to safety concerns in and around the property. The garage is metered, which allows easy public access and increases the risk of vehicle break-ins and thefts. It was common to see shattered glass in the parking area. Additionally, multiple of the building’s “secure” entry doors did not lock properly, which was another safety issue. My own front door never fully locked from the outside and consistently showed as jammed. Maintenance attempted to fix it multiple times, beginning on my move-in day, but the issue would return within a few days. When I brought this up, I was told, “If you pull on it, it’s actually locked,” which did not resolve my concern and the issue continued throughout my entire lease. Overall, my living experience was average. My main concern and the reason for leaving this review is the lack of transparency and professionalism from management during the move-out process. I was charged $217 for just nail and screw hole repairs, which seems excessive given the normal wear and tear expected from standard wall use. When I requested documentation or receipts supporting that it costs the property $217 to repair nail holes, in accordance with N.C. Gen. Stat. §42-52, the assistant manager (Jazzmyn) was unable to provide them after multiple follow-ups. My previous unit’s initial condition was also below expectations. The unit was still being cleaned the day I moved in, and while a cleaning service was later sent, my furniture was already in place. There were also ongoing repairs and leftover items from the previous tenant, including rusted utensils in the top tray of the dishwasher. There are several nearby communities that offer a safer environment and more consistent & professional management. Based on conversations with others, these issues seem to be part of a broader pattern within MAA-managed properties.

This apartment is decent with nice countertops, but the homeless population has grown to where I have seen them defecate in the bushes surrounding the apartment. Close to the light rail and trail, but at a price. The parking garage is public and not properly secured so MULTIPLE, like 10+ people have had their cars broken into or stolen at some point in the 10 months I have been here.

I love everything about this complex. I've been here for almost two years. Although it's very pricey, it's worth it. My only complaint is that we don't have guest parking.
