Nickel and diming every cost

Location is convenient. Apartments are relatively spacious with storage and W/D in unit. Buildings are 30 years old, and it shows in the outdated decor, and cheap carpet and appliances. Corporation is more concerned about profit than residents. Charging fees for every little thing that used to be included in rent. Significant rent increases during COVID, No longer any onsite staff. Property manager is indifferent in attitude about assisting residents, rarely any followup communications. There is rare communication from management about anything. Large dogs are now allowed, and some are barkers, and nothing has been done to quiet them. The supposed on site Maintenance technician is split between other properties, and has difficulties getting his work done at Rocky Meadows. There are no amenities. The property is moderate, but rents are too high, with little to no flexibility in lease lengths.

Great Location, Safe Living

I really enjoy living at Rocky Meadows. The apartments are centrally located in a nice area and I've always felt safe and secure in my apartment. Overall, the other tenants have been friendly and clean, and when I was moving in people offered to help me with my things. My apartment is clean and comfortable and I'm very happy here.

Property built 30 years ago. Well built, but showing its age as very few updates have been made, decor is 'contractor' brown/tan. Cabinets/countertops are original Formica tan/cream. Because the property is corporate owned, since COVID pandemic they have been charging basic rent PLUS all the other costs that are that had been included in rental price. (Tenant always paid own electric/cable/internet). Extra fees added: Natural gas, Water/Sewer/Trash, Pest Control, Garage, monthly service fee. This usually adds another $100+ to the monthly rent. General maintenance is often delayed if not urgent - understaffed. The overall staffing is bare bones and overworked, all for the sake of making money for shareholders. If one is looking for modern conveniences and decor, this is not the place for you.
