The Meridian At Fondren

Pets allowed. The Meridian at Fondren and State Street Group encourages all our residents to enjoy pets in their apartment to enhance their lifestyle and home experience. We offer a dog washing station and an on-site dog park for your convenience!  If you are considering adding a pet to your home, please review the following requirements.  This policy also applies to visiting pets, which must be pre-approved by Management before being allowed on the property. Certain aggressive breeds are restricted from residing in the community.  Restricted breeds include, but are not limited to: Akita American Bulldog American Pit Bull Terrier American Staffordshire Terrier Boerboel Bullmastiff Cane Corso Chow Chow Doberman Pinscher Dogo Argentino German Shepard Mastiff Mixed Breeds with Aggressive Tendencies Perro de Presa Canario Pit Bull Rottweiler Wolf Hybrid Wolfdog Veterinary Documentation All pets, including service animals, must be properly licensed and have all preventative vaccinations up to date. Residents must provide a letter from a licensed veterinarian stating that the pet is in good health and specifying the breed or breeds of the pet based on the veterinarian's best estimation.  Pet Fees and Deposits Non--Refundable Pet Fee: $450 for the 1st pet and $350 for the 2nd pet.  This must be paid on or before the pet is allowed onto the property.  This fee is not a deposit for damages.  Any pet related damages will be charged to the resident.   Additional Security Deposit: $200 for 1st Pet and $200 for the 2nd pet.  This must be paid on or before the pet is allowed onto the property. General Pet Guidelines Approved Pets: Dogs, cats, fish, and birds.  Exotic pets are not permitted. Pet Limit: Maximum of two (2) pets per apartment No Weight Limit: The Meridian at Fondren does not impose a weight restriction on pets. All pets and service animals must be under control and leashed at all times. No pets are to be left unattended on balconies at any time. Service Animal Policy Service animals are accepted without breed or weight restrictions. No pet fees or deposits will be charged for service animals. Residents must provide official documentation from a licensed therapist, psychologist, or psychiatrist stating that the service animal is needed to help alleviate the resident's symptoms.  The document must be on the professional's official letterhead and include their contact information. Resident Responsibility: Any damage caused by their service animal will be charged to the resident. Aggressive Behavior: Service animals that exhibit aggressive behavior will be documented, and appropriate action will be taken to correct their behavior.
