Fantastic small complex, great location
We've lived in our apartment at the Garrett for several months and simply couldn't be happier with our decision. The location is phenomenal as it's a quick walk to Nelson Atkins, several stores and cafes, and only a few blocks away from downtown Westport. The building itself has been maintained well and it seems and feels like the owner/management team value high quality as the fixtures and appliances are well above builder-grade. We love the dedicated parking spaces and the extra security of a gated lot. We have had a phenomenal experience with management and maintenance thus far as well- always prompt, incredibly kind, and get the job done well. Another commenter shared they feel these individuals actually like their jobs, and I agree wholeheartedly! Our neighbors are great and we've had no issues with noise or anyone behaving poorly. Just overall a fantastic place to live. I couldn't recommend The Garrett more highly!
Good size and room for company
2 years and signed for third. Gated parking, so there is a guaranteed spot, is amazing. Downstairs has a small storage closet for each unit and a basic gym area. I wish there was a small bike lockup where one of the big rosebushes are. Or maybe just stairs to the storage closet replaced with a ramp. Like that the place came with some led bulbs in lights but wish the windows and /or balcony door were better. We know we lost a lot of heat in winter and a lot of ac in summer. Personally wish they used less water on landscaping hay be it eat not very customizable. Maintenance team is always friendly and prompt; they seem to like their jobs! Same with admin. We will probably not be able to afford a forth year if prices continue to increase.
