Liz, Aaron and I moved here in November to see if we would like this style of living. We own a home in Mound that our son and Daughter-in-law are renting from us. We have loved The Mist from day one. The place feels very safe, and feels like a place of high quality. We love our view of the lake. There are regular gatherings where we have been able to meet more of our neighbors, and we have enjoyed all of them. The staff is very friendly and feel more like friends. We love our new home!

I have lived here since the end of June, 2023. The minute I walked in and met Suzan I was impressed with the cleanliness, decor, amenities and staff. Suzan was very welcoming and informative. Then she showed me the condo that was available and I immediately took it. The views are stunning. I love everything about living here. It's quiet. The people are friendly.The layout is great. Recently I had a problem with my oven and Tim and Barbie Jo were very responsive. They replace it quickly so that I was able to use it for entertaining over the holidays.

As a 12 year resident of The Mist, I can honestly tell anyone that is considering The Mist that it is Home. It is a wonderful community where neighbors, staff, pets, even all the delivery and mail personally know each other. I developed many close relationships from my time at The Mist. And one can't ask for a better location...with views and access to Lake Mtka...it feels like it is out of the city, but, it is just one stoplight to downtown as I liked to tell people. The building itself was well supported, managed and maintained to perfection. I recently moved out due to other family circumstances, but if things change, I will go right back to The Mist! Thanks everyone at The Mist for making it a true Home!
