Over all decent place to live for the cost. Dogs are barking all the time. Appliances and fair. Floors are noisy!
Garage apartment 'townhome'
These Autumn Wind complexes, courtesy of Lloyd Management, are nothing more than one long makeshift garage with added bedrooms and bathrooms. Each complex is separated into 4 units within each section. A mere 2x6 studs on each unit's sides separate each unit, with about 6" in between units to house shared plumbing. Doubtful there is insulation between units, as one can easily hear neighbors flushing toilets and taking showers and closing cupboards. Walls are not painted but rather cheaply spackled white, like the ceiling. The flooring is attached to the garage unit's cement floor, with no underlayment. If there were a fire during sleep in the upstairs bedrooms, one would need to escape from bedroom windows onto roof, or worse onto the ground below. Yikes! Extremely curious how these complexes have passed MN housing inspections. Or have they? Curious indeed! In addition, the complexes are situated on once used open farmland and against extreme wind and weather conditions. The excessive wind barrels through the complex, often tumbling filled garbage containers, and during winter, leaving most tenants with excessive snowdrifts at front door that are left to the tenants to remove! I'm saving my review!
Overall decemt
Location is good. Maintenance seems to be slacking,in a few areas like washer maintenance and dishwasher maintenance. I had to clean them and empty filters when moved in. Flooring is also cheap, lots of random bumps and scuffs throughout. Not alot of outlets which is just poor design. Yard is maintained nicely and is pretty quiet neighborhood
Autumn Winds Townhome
Have lived here the past year and have enjoyed the townhome. Spacious and lots and lots of storage via closet space. The walk in closet is my favorite. Property manager very responsive and informative of upcoming events/happenings for the rental. Noise level quiet foe the most part, everyone very respectful of noise.
Ok place - not built well
been here 5+ years, started out as a nice QUIET community over the past couple years many more what seem to be college students/young families that don't have respect for rules or privacy of others. We were told to remove some of our yard decor from our patio area, yet NOW 2-4 places have similar decor in the FRONT of housing and are allowed to keep it up. Cars are not to be worked on on driveways yet we see it frequently, NO Smoking so many feet from housing - yet we have smoke drifting to our patio or in our patio from other tenants. Pets are allowed to run random at time and use the cul-de-sac as a pooping area with no clean up - gross. Kids ride bikes with no respect to watch for drives or get off to side when vehicles drive on roadway. Management seemed to care about property etc. in the beginning but have gotten very slack on upholding rules (even have changed policy regarding pets just to fill Non-smoking/Non-pet buildings) I feel it has gone down significantly in the time we have lived here - I do hate to see where it will be in 5 more years. (one of the reasons we are leaving as soon as we can find another place. As for building - we have multiple cracks upstairs due to building shifting at times unable to shut bedroom doors, floors are coming up in living area and cement on sidewalk is cracking and coming up in area even though it has been reported for the past 3 years - the only thing done was doors upstairs were shimmed to allow closing. I would recommend for people getting a start at a decent rent, but we have seen and are an examples as why people are leaving as soon as their initial year is up - LOTS AND LOTS OF OVERTURN in the properties,
