What others love about this property:
Overall good
I have lived here for two years. Overall its been good living here. The facility is kept clean, when maintenance is needed the response is usually next day. They try to involve residents for different functions through the year. Communication has gotten better for the residents.
DVD holder
Many residents are upset and do not understand the logic in removing a perfectly functional (and not bad looking) DVD shelf which has been here for years. We show movies in the theater EACH WEEK and now find that the DVD holder must be removed because it is not a part of "The Legends" furniture. The DVD's have been removed and put in drawers which now require old folks to get on their hands and knees to look through. THIS MAKES NO SENSE. This existing shelf stands 6' tall so it is easy to browse the contents. If you want to remove a perfectly good functional upright DVD holder, then replace it with something comparable that meets the Legends standards. It stands in the corner, oput of the way and is perfectly fine where it's at. I am speaking for what everyone else is saying also.....that this decision makes absolutely NO sense, unless it is replaced with something comparably efficient for elderly residents to access.
