Excellent

I have lived at Amber Apartments for 7 years. They are well-run by a highly professional and organized staff. The office staff responds to all requests immediately and maintenance requests (non-emergency) are handled within one day. All of the maintenance staff are courteous and professional and I have always felt comfortable having them access my apartment when I am not home. The head of maintenance, Lez, is superb at his job and goes out of his way to ensure that every request is completed in a timely manner and professionally. Any mess created by work done is always cleaned up and my apartment looks just as I left it. The grounds are immaculate and any debris is removed daily. During the winter months when we have a major snowfall, removal begins very early morning, so the park ing lot is clear when I leave for work. I love the hardwood floors and wood burning fireplace. Great Place To Live!

This was my first apartment after moving out of my parents house 3 years ago. I live in one of the studios on crooks. I literally love this place. I love the building manager Linda, the maintenance workers, location and parking. And my neighbors are just great. Such a wonderful experience here. Maintenance is always quick to fix issues. Linda always responds quick to emails and before Covid, going to take her my rent check every month was always a good experience. So friendly and helpful! Great price for what you get and awesome amenities included! Give this place a look, you won’t be disappointed.

Tenant half a century ago

I lived at 2424 Crooks Road in 1971-1973. Worked at Vickers, at Crooks and Big Beaver. The Amber brothers were running it then. Not bad.

Perfect apartment in Royal Oak

My boyfriend and I adore our apartment. It is clean, has a good location, and the price is right. The management team is awesome and always responds to us quickly and efficiently. Great place to be!

Kevin is THE MAN

Kevin the night-time emergency maintenance guy is the best. At 9:30pm on a Sunday, I discovered a pin-hole leak in one of the hot water pipes in my house. I called the emergency service number and Kevin arrived at the house at 10:00pm. By 11:00pm he had repaired the pipe and vacuumed up the water, no hassle. Great maintenance crew!
