Sigel Apartments

Nice place to live. Great staff that is very hellful when I need anything. Great small town area.

Quiet, not a bad place to rent at all. Small kitchen but good for one person

The security lighting on 1/2 of the property has been burned out for over 4 years. The light for the Sigel property sign and the light for the flag have also been off for over 4 years. Multiple maintenance requests have produced no repair. The light bulb in the entry foyer burned out 6 months ago and maintenance requests have been ignored.

Up until a year ago, we had a property manager who actually cared about the property and us, the tenants. But now, the property is falling into disrepair and trashy. There is a security light that has been burned out for about 3 years and not repaired or replaced. The porch lights at the front doors, burn out and aren't replaced. The sign at the entrance of the property hasn't been lighted in about 3 years. The flag hasn't been flown in over 3 years!! There are trees that were taken down in a storm 4 years ago and are still laying on the ground. There are bushes untrimmed around the buildings. There just seems to be a general disregard to taking care of the property, and it's sad. I've been here for over 10 years and it's never been like this before. It's sad that the management change has allowed this nice place to go downhill like this. Pigeon may be a small town, but in this small town the apartments have an opportunity to be a bright light. That's not happening anymore.

One big problem has to do with ventilation in the buildings. Tenants who illegally smoke marijuana in their apartment share the smell throughout the building. The smell fills the hallways as well as permeating into other apartments.
