Pinehurst Apartments

It's a good place to live overall, but I feel it's a bit overpriced.

We first moved here in 2002. The property and buildings were immaculate. We moved away in 2009 and moved back here in 2014. Since that time, the property and buildings have deteriorated to the point of embarrassment! The garbage has not been picked up for at least one week or more. The weeds have taken over the flower beds and the patios are a mess. People moved in next door and no one from management even cleaned up the patio to welcome them!

It's exactly okay for the cost. The maintenance is pretty good but the overall quality of the place is just okay.

The grounds and residents buildings look rundown and neglected. Understaffed. Maintenance slips submitted however not completed and no follow up by management Plans for property improvement posted for residents to see, no visible improvements. Y hey had all summer to make improvements and the only thing we’ve seen is getting red of children’s play area and pulling the shrubs out.

The first time we lived here was in 2002 - around 2009. Liked the property so much that when we moved back to Grand Ledge we chose to rent here again. I think we have been here about 10 years now. During that time we have seen this property a lowly deteriorate. The bushes are never trimmed and there are weeds growing up through them. I understand that they will pulled out but until then they should be trimmed. The railroad ties are rotting and broken. The wood around the exterior of the doors is rotting and the steps are a safety hazard and there are no hand rails. This is not a complaint. We would just like to take some pride when we have visitors and admire the property as we once did. If you need people to volunteer to help clean it up around here please post it in the bulletin. The bushes are atrocious! And we have to step over the weeds to get to our door. Whatever that is behind building C looks half done and sloppy. I just don’t understand what is going on. I have never seen this place so neglected!
