Country living in the City!

My husband and I moved into The Harbours apartments 9 years ago. Being elderly and handicapped it was perfect for us. We got a handicap unit in Building 39 and then moved to Building 18 with no steps for my husband. The maintenance crew has bent over backwards to meet anything we need to be taken care of. They even cleaned off our car from the heavy snowfall last winter. Our neighbors are pleasant and friendly. The wildlife on the pond of swans, ducks and geese is so relaxing to sit on the patio and watch. The birds chirp away and have made nests in the little birdhouse I put down by the pond. My husband has since died and the neighbors look after me to make sure I am okay. Its like one big family of friends. I am lucky to have them. The rental rate is reasonable since it includes heat, water and trash. And the pools and fitness center are a bonus!
