Amazing property to live at

Living here has been a breeze. Its been an amazing first place to call home. Anytine we’ve had an issues or questions, maintenance and management have been amazing getting back to you the same day, or first thing thr next day.

Some staff unhelpful

I have only had one experience with management since moving in and it was quite poor. One day, I management notified me that I was violating my lease as they had received an electric bill for my unit, as such they would be demanding a $50 service fee. I explained that I did not know how this happened as I had set up service in my name prior to moving in. After all, this is a requirement for moving in and management has a copy of my confirmation email of this on file. I asked if they could waive the fee since it was most likely an error on DTE’s end. Management quite rudely explained that no, they couldn’t, and I better get if fixed soon or they’d charge me $50 more. They also explained that service started in my name but inexplicably got transferred back to them 25 days later. All in all it seems suspicious. For all I know they intentionally transferred services back to their name so that they could scare me into a $50 fee. I really wish they had been more understanding and cooperative. Instead they have come off totally unhelpful and intimidating.

I made my home here for 19 years. My job brought me here. Now retired wanted to be closer to family. My stay here was wonderful. I have been treated very well. Any problems were taken care (which weren’t many). The staff and maintenance people have been good. All employees have treated me with respect. All the maintenance people have been awesome. Through out the years Don, Harry and Kim have been great. Big thank you to Kim. She helped me many times. I think Brighton Cove is a wonderful place to if you are looking for a new home. Thank you everyone for a great 19 years. Happy Holidays ?? Cheri

Recommend The Move Here

it'll be a month that me and my fiancé moved here and so far its going well. the neighbors in my building were very welcoming as we were moving in. its really quiet here. the most noise I have heard since being here is someone starting up their car and closing the main building door. I put a maintenance order in and the supervisor (i'm assuming) came in the same day to take care of it and she was mindful to put on foot coverings without me asking which was a plus for me!! the parking lot is new, located near everything and the freeway, and again its really quiet here which is really important for us. I wish there was additional utilities included, but the apartment and the location make-up for the minor "issues" we have here. For the most part we have no complaints.
