Overall, I like the buiding, however, the hallways are never maintained (I always have the vacuum the whole hallway) and I live in the building but there is no parking for me which is beyond frustrating. The washer and dryer mangled some of my clothes and its either super hot or super cold in the room.

Overall this is a great location to live in that is close by Ross and central campus. Only complaint is the noise - this property is close to many co-ops and greek houses that throw parties / tailgates early in the morning and late at night from thurs - sat.

Our experience while living here thus far has been mostly positive, one thing I think needs instant attention is for parking, we live in a unit above the parking garage and one of our neighbors' honda civic type r revs his engine so hard that I can literally feel it on our floor like an earthquake if he was designated to spot under his unit or near his unit this wouldn't be a problem.

1001 E. University has really nice units, great parking, and a great location, but I can not recommend them and I won't rent there again unless there are major overhauls to the heating system. The heating failures this year were unacceptable. The security of the doors into the building is also unacceptable.
