Max weight 25 lb each. Pet limit 2 allowed. The Highlands of Chevy Chase welcomes cats and dogs up to 35 lbs with breed restrictions. We also welcome Emotional Support Animals and Service Dogs. The Highlands has partnered with the Pet Screening Company. They provide hassle-free compliance services with your pet's records, vaccinations, screening of Service & Emotional Support animals, insurance, fees, etc. Every resident will be asked to fill out a profile and follow the prompts. If you don't have a pet, click the verification button for the pet policy. The dog must be of a gentle disposition. Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, Doberman Pinschers, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Chows, Great Danes, Presa Canarios, Akitas, Alaskan Malamutes, Siberian Huskies, wolf-hybrids and any other vicious dog breeds are strictly prohibited. In addition, fish tanks over twenty (20) gallons, rats, birds, mice, reptiles, ferrets, and exotic animals are strictly prohibited.
