Why Renters Love It Here

Good balance between a nice suite and reasonable rent, you wont find apartments like this cheaper in Oz Village. Its nice to have a pet friendly building that allows large dogs, although some tenants need to train their dogs better (can be noisy at times.) Since the nightclub down the street opened, it is VERY loud at night in the summertime. Property management has it’s frustrating moments, it takes some persistent pushing when you need something done. But they are friendly and dont bother you unnecessarily, which I appreciate.

Great apartment, brutal staffing

The apt itself is generally very clean and well maintained, my unit is a great size for very reasonable rent. Every single interaction with staff is a gong show, though. It took 6+ months to be set up on the payment system so i couldnt submit rent. I repeatedly asked the property mgr to set me up so i could pay, all requests ignored and asked to pay cash instead. Handing over thousands in cash seemed too risky and pretty sketchy so i continued to ask to be set up in the online system like everyone else. Still didnt happen, i submitted a direct deposit form which was apparently lost (as has every other document ive handed in to our building office, conveniently- i think folks just arent doing their job to be honest) but no one informed me they had misplaced it, i then got an eviction notice for non payment after literally BEGGING to be set up so i can securely pay. After threatening to contact higher up supervisors i finally got set up in the system and received a link to log in and pay, which i did immediately. Beyond that, i continued to ask for a copy of my lease for nearly a year before finally having one sent over (the signed copy i handed in was also “lost”) I noticed other tenants receiving lease extension inquiries under their doors but none under mine, apparently this was due to the “lost” lease but no one had ever mentioned that it was lost until i brought up the extension….i’ve asked about s parking space for months and im sure that info didnt get passed along to who needed it until i checked in since it had been a while…honestly i work in admin and if i was this sloppy id be super fired, just sayin
