Great apartment

Fell in love with the apartment as I walked through each door and still very much in love with it several months later. Management is lovely and responsive and do an amazing job plowing the parking lot when it snows in the winter as well as maintaining entrances and exits.

Poorly Insulated

Even keeping your thermostat at a measly 65 to 67 degrees in the winter will still get you a neat $600 dollar electric bill in the winter. Even on warm days the temperature outside is several degrees colder because the building doesn't keep the wind out. The heating g system is also not efficient with the heating vents being placed high up on the ceiling. The people on the floor above you will be reaping far more benefit from your heating system than you ever will. Well into March (even some days in April) it was still completely necessary to wear several layers of clothing while indoors. The price of everything else here is manageable, but the insulation really needs a huge amount if work. Regardless of how beautiful the apartment itself is, being miserably cold for half of the year is not worth it.

Abbott School- Cool!

Really nice vintage building, in a safe neighborhood, building is well cared for.. Micozzi staff members are responsive (Ms. Rackauskis, office mgr, Dan, building maintenance supervisor-both excellent), laundry facilities are new. Overall the Abbott School is a great value, the residents are quiet and friendly, and the location is nice!
