It's home

I've been here 12 years. It's been mostly a positive experience. The maintenance staffing is understaffed for most of the time I've been here. The new property manager is a breath of fresh air compared to the previous managers here. I like the initiatives she has taken to improve things for us residents. She came into a difficult situation and has made people feel better about how things are going around here. There's a long way to go to get there but she's moving things in the right direction. I'm glad she's here. My apartment needs new kitchen cabinets and countertops and stove and the carpeting has frayed and will continue to do so. There's peeling paint in the kitchen, bathroom. When an appointment empties. It's redone. My stove is over 35 years old and the kitchen cabinets are cheap press board and the same age as the stove. The countertop is Formica that is also 35 years old or more . The finish is worn off.
