The Catawba Apartments are located at 80 Locust Ave, just off of Route 9 near the Worcester/ Shrewsbury line. This location means a short walk to Umass, or White City, with Shrewsbury St, and Quinsigamond State Park also being just a short distance away.
You’ll find a good mix of 1 and 2 BR units, all of which include heat and hot water, and are extremely spacious.
All units include ample parking, and many have a balcony off of the living room. This area offers a true neighborhood feel with the convenience of being right in the city.

Locust Ave apartments

These apartments are a good value for the price point and provide everything that would be needed to live comfortably in this area. We have experienced several items within our apartment that were broken when we had moved in, which is inconvenient but not a major problem. The buildings overall are quiet, parking is great and in building laundry is very handy. Overall Locus Ave apartments have been a wonderful place to move to!

Pretty decent place

This apartment is pretty decent. It is right next to a train track and can be loud when the trains go by but otherwise, it is pretty quiet. The area is very residential and there is a private road before getting to the apartment so it takes away the noise from the traffic. There is no laundry in suite, however, there are laundry machines in the building. It costs 2 bucks for a wash and 2 bucks for dryer. The hallways are old and the steps can be squeaky but it is very clean. The maintenance staff are very nice and they follow up well, but sometimes you aren't given a notice as to when they're gonna come to your apartment. We sent a few small maintenance requests and they just showed up so maybe it was because they were smaller requests. The apartments are renovated so they are nice and pretty nice for the value of the apartment!

Good location, but you're a number not a person

I have lived in a Micozzi apartment for about two years. There are pros and cons to using a company rather than an independent landlord for sure - you will not be treated like a person but rather like a number, especially because they have so many properties. They WILL increase your rent every year. Our elderly neighbors were forced to leave due to not being able to afford the dramatic increases. The location is good though, safe for Worcester, and the building is nice even though the fire alarms will randomly go off at times.
