Our basic needs are met well

I have lived here for 2 years and have been most impressed by the maintenance team's responsiveness and helpfulness. The building does not have many amenities, but we make do without. The kitchen is slightly outdated but I feel that the managers take that into account for price when renewing the leases. The location works well for us, especially with parking included in rent. Overall, it's a no-frills apartment building that meets our basic needs well.

Good location but poor value.

Awesome neighborhood close to highways, gym and bus routes. Walls are pretty thin and noise leaks. Mix of families and working adults. Parking is so tight your car will get scratched and scuffed for sure. Plus only one spot for unit. Maintenance is quick to fix issues. Management staff will take you for every dime that they can!

Constant Construction

Other than the location (close to Oak Square neighborhood, 57 bus line and YMCA) and recent renovations to the buildings, I would recommend not living here. The management company has maintenance guys that are not the kindest and can be downright rude. On top of that the management company steals money from tenant deposits without any justification. Street parking can be a problem depending on the time of day you get home. Lastly, there is always some sort of construction going on here in the building or the parking lots that usually poses as a major inconvenience for the tenants (asking you to move your car, park on the street, etc). There used to be a big problem with package theft, but they had an Amazon Hub put in which seems to have helped.

disappointment

Install some cameras in the lobby--there are thieves in and around the building. The money we're paying for RENT could be used for a MORTGAGE; this is not a big ask.
