Nice location and quiet. Sometimes issue with a/c not coming on early enough in the year

Too Expensive

I have been living here for nearly a year and have been disappointed with my experience. I believe for the amount of money for the rent, I should be receiving more bang for my buck. The gym is not sufficient for regular workouts, the laundry machines charge too much and are too little, there is constantly trash/recycling filling up the floors of the trash room, water has been turned off 12x within 3 months, and now the building is without an elevator for 13 weeks which is egregious. For the price that I pay, I would expect more direct and clear communication, nicer living conditions (paint job, appliances, wood finishing, access to our own AC/heat), and an overall better experience.

I live at Chocolate Baker Factory apartments

I have enjoyed living here. The location is perfect for a commuter, whether you take the train, bus, or drive. The nearby shops are all great and give a nice sense of community that is hard to find in the city. I use the trails nearby and walk often. There are a couple of playgrounds within walking distance that we frequent. The Lower Mills Library is a wonderful, to sit and do work, they have a variety of events throughout the year. The maintenance team is attentive and responds promptly to any requests and concerns. The lower common areas are always cleaned and ready for use. I have used the grills on many occasions and hosted family gatherings there as well. Neighbors have all been respectful and polite.

Great place to live

I've lived here since early 2009. My apartment is very comfortable, and the staff are great. Things get fixed quickly. The neighborhood is attractive, safe, restaurants, pubs, and shops nearby.
