The apartment is great in a good location near downtown. There is only 1 driveway for the apartment and you will need to fight to find street parking unfortunately. My chief complaint is that maintenance has not resolved my issue with the dishwasher in the unit. The dishwasher advertised with the unit did not work when I moved in and after submitting a request for maintenance, one tech came in to diagnose the issue and told me they needed a new part and to wait a bit. 4 weeks later I ask for an update and another maintenance employee comes and says that there needs to be a new unit and it will take 3-4 weeks. I have not received an update since and my new maintenance keep getting marked as resolved and the staff at Barker assured me that they would take care of it. It has since been 13 months since I moved in and there has been no progress on the dishwasher. Otherwise it's just okay.
