It is a nice place to live, and a safe area. the apartment itself is very nice, but it is hard to get help from the staff.

Pricey noise
Apartments are nice but the apartments were not built with noise reducing construction - so if you like living under people with children allowed to run, stomp, and scream at the top of their lungs in the apartment, you will love it here. It is very disappointing to pay a premium price for an apartment and have this kind of problem. They could do something about it, but won't. They cared enough to install a doggy park, but no place for kids to play outside. There's the first clue that the demographic of who they thought would rent when these apartments first opened, isn't who is renting here now. I heard a rumor that some of the amenities that made this place popular will be going away in August 2023. The construction of the junkier apartments being built and blocking the eastern view of the golf course, the Fairway Flats apartments will no longer be "premium living" in Lawrence. Those new apartments are being slapped together and will be noisy, too. I bet soon the golf course on this side will get sold for residential property. Probably why houses on Crossgate have been on the market.
