Elm Creek

Living here 4 years and now I’m having issues, trying to resolve but since new mgmt has taken over the process has been confusing and unorganized. Pleasant staff but resolution is challenging. Still trying to sign my lease renewal. I’m downstairs and now I can’t get help because they are showing properties and the staff here still may not be able to assist.

The rent is expensive. As much or more than a mortgage payment for a 1bd 1bath apartment. Expect monthly fees such as $30 parking, $100 water/trash bill which is very high for an apartment, pet fees that can be waived with an Emotional Support Animal certification, which saves about $1000 all together. Utilities are all electric aside from the heat for winter which is natural gas. Amenities are plentiful. Small gym, nice pool, billiards table that needs upkeep more than once a year. Stationary bike room needs maintenance. I've used it once and 2/3 bikes did not work or had issues preventing use. Very pet friendly. I've lived here a year now and have had little or no issues with noise from neighbors or from the community in general. Finding an open parking spot is only an issue very late at night, there are some cars in the lot taking up spots that haven't moved the entire time I've been here. Maintenance staff is very accommodating and quick to repair anything I've had an issue with. Have only experienced small issues with plumbing currently. Other than that everything works as intended. RPM Living recently purchased Elm Creek Apts. I have yet to meet that staff so I have no opinion on how things are handled on their end. The previous building management company was excellent and able to assist with any issues I had.

We are currenlty in a transition period, which is resulting in the lower than expected scores on my part. I am hopeful that things will improve and get back to where they were soon.
