It's All About the Money

Everything else pales in comparison when upon entering here one sees the filthy condition of the carpeted hallways from the 2nd floor going up!! It is nauseating and should've been replaced a long time ago because it's so old that no amount of vacuuming can redeem its lustre!! Service delivery is equally appalling!! This year, I once placed an order for a light bulb replacement and had to follow with an email notification 3 weeks later to have it replaced. There was a claim of not receiving my work order when I clearly had email confirmation from Rent Cafe regarding my work order. We once had an elevator failure and it took close to 4 months to get a new one in place!! All of these incidents beg the question about if there's a responsible management here or if things are left to sort themselves out. I once received email from this management addressing me using a first name that I could not recognize!! The communication from management needs to be upgraded to a more civil and respectful manner rather than being arrogant & offensive!!!

Comfortable and convenient

The elevator doesnt always work, but it’s a nocel ocation close to the lake and the redline. Close to a walgreens, CVS, whole foods, and aldi, but with minimal noise problems

Nice neighborhood

The best thing about living here is George, the building supervisor! Pleasant, helpful, and prompt taking care of resident's concerns. On-site parking availability is a plus, too. People in the neighborhood are friendly, and there's a nice variety of stores and restaurants.

It's home

I will mark 11 years here as of this fall -- I'm renewing my lease today after one lease was less than a year. I have had questions and problems resolved quickly, and generally with satisfaction. The elevator rebuilding (November 2022 outage, with reconstruction beginning in January 2023) has been the major problem of my time here, but it seems resolved. Also, when I suggested resolving a related problem by adding a banister in the stairwell, workers were here in several days to try to add it and I received a call from management asking what I had meant. The second banister would not work, but at least the solution was attempted.
