This was my first apartment that I chose to live in as it's close to my college campus. I leased for 8 months and here are my thoughts: Cons: - My car got broken into twice within a span of a week and a half which prevented me from having a car as I kept it at my parent's house. - Living on the second floor meant waking up randomly on early mornings to hear the garbage slamming. As someone with anxiety my nervous system was going through it lol. - The monthly cost of my unit went up by almost $200. It was around 1500 then went to 1700. As a college student this was really hard to deal with. - Sometimes at night the area would be very loud, and I didn't feel safe walking outside. - Area of the place is not that great, I wouldn't recommend it - Gotten one or two packages stolen Pros: - Everything in terms of utilities and maintenance was fine - Good location in terms of what's near as it is close to the city - Really kind people - Soundproof walls except near the window - Staff are really kind and understanding

Living at the Flamingo has been a great experience for me. Whatever concerns I have the staff will address them in a timely manner. The staff is very respectful and the maintenance, when work orders come in they are on top of them. I love the amenities, the pool, the 2 laundry rooms, the mail room that keeps our packages safe. The grounds are kept up very nicely. I love that they care for our pets. They have treats for them and they even have have a dog park. This will be my forever home ??
