Full and partial breeds of any of the following dogs are prohibited: Pit Bull, Staffordshire Terrier, Rottweiler, German Shepherd, Presa Canario, Chow Chow, Doberman, Akita, Wolf Hybrid, Mastiff, Cane Corso, Great Dane, Alaskan Malamute, Husky, Boxer, Dalmatian, and St. Bernard. Documentation from a veterinarian stating breed, weight, and vaccination records is required. Photo of animal is required. Owner is responsible for picking up after their animal; violators can be fined up to $100 per occurrence. Cats and Dogs are the only animals permitted on the premises. Any unregistered animals discovered may result in a fine of up to $500. Guest animals are not permitted on the premises. Exotic animals are prohibited.

Apathy from the upper management

Having lived in two TLC properties over the past two years, I've had a mixed experience that I'd like to share. There are definitely positives to highlight, such as the convenient locations of the buildings, reasonable rent costs, and generally friendly and helpful staff members. However, there are some significant areas where TLC Properties needs to improve. The first major issue I encountered was with Museum Walk apartment in May 2022. I was supposed to receive a reimbursement for the full rent I paid for the last few days of my lease, which ended midway through that month. It's been nearly 1.5 years, and I still haven't received that reimbursement despite multiple follow-ups with various individuals. This lack of accountability when it comes to returning residents' money is concerning and leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Another important aspect TLC Properties should address is the cultural sensitivity of their property management staff. Residents at Hyde Park come from diverse cultural backgrounds, and there have been instances where staff members struggled to communicate appropriately. Providing extensive cultural sensitivity training could significantly improve the experience for all residents. Additionally, TLC Properties needs to take the maintenance and servicing of essential amenities more seriously. The laundry and elevator systems have experienced frequent breakdowns, which negatively impacts the overall customer experience. For instance, I had to use the stairs for three or more months because the elevator buttons weren't working correctly. Despite these issues, a maintenance fee continues to be charged every month, leaving residents wondering where their money is going.

It's ok

There is problems with drainage, I wish the rent would stay the same instead of going up every year , other than that it's decent.
