Cullom Review
I really love my apartment! Its spacious and quiet. The neighborhood is lovely. There are lots of things near by that so you dont really need to drive.
comfortable living......
I've been here since Nov 2020. I came from AZ & would prefer to live in the suburbs......I am pleased with apartment.
Kedvale & Cullom Long Term Resident
Lived here 8+ years. Good things: nice views from my apartment windows and should be the case in most units, since it's a corner lot. The neighborhood has lots of greenery, so it's a pretty part of the city. It's mixed residential, so you usually find parking. Love the mix of nice houses amid apartments. As for the building itself: responsive building management - building maintenance person Alim is amazingly helpful. The so-so: slightly sleepy neighborhood vibe and not exactly a mecca of hotspots. But you're near those neighborhoods, so that works for me. I'm a sucker for older buildings, and this one is from the 1920's. Love the vintage wood and historical feel. Less enamored with the lack of in-unit appliances. Most units won't have dishwashers or laundry, and it's a slog in the winter to use the coin-operated machines in the building basement, which you have to reach by outside access. Neighbors have mostly been good. The noisy ones quiet down in the evening, or they left after awhile. For the most part, people are quiet and I've seen other longterm residents, so people do stick around. Additional food for thought: during Covid, Wirtz didn't raise rents, which I appreciate. Rent has gone up every year, which does accumulate and I worry about future affordability.
