Each Flexhome is fully furnished and includes a kitchen with cooking essentials, memory foam mattresses, sheets and towels, in-unit or shared building laundry machines, smart TV, coffee maker, laptop-friendly workspace, reliable high-speed internet, and a starter set of paper products, toiletries, and other household and cleaning supplies. And our friendly and responsive support team is available to assist from 9am-10pm 7 days a week.
Pricing & availability:
- Enter specific dates on the Flexhome website to see availability and pricing (reference ID# in listing title)
- All utilities are included
- Discounts apply for 7+ day stays (12-20%) and 30+ day stays (20-30%)
Payments & renewals:
- Upfront payment is required for the initial reservation. We accept online payments only
- Payment plans for monthly renewals: upon request, we can tentatively reserve renewal months without payment up until 14 days prior to each renewal date, after which the dates would be opened for other guests to book. Payment plans require the initial month to be paid in full
Cancellation policy:
- Review the listing on the Flexhome website for the specific cancellation policy (reference listing ID# in listing title)
Booking requirements:
- ID verification
- Background screening
- Rental agreement
- Separate $200 refundable security deposit. Payable online only. Refund issued after checkout assuming no material issues e.g. damage, missing items, violated House Rules. Refunds take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement
The space:
The apartment comfortably sleeps 4 and has flexible seating areas so you can work or relax at your convenience. The living room sectional may serve as additional sleeping space, however please note it does not have a pull-out bed.

In-unit laundry, dedicated workspace, dining table, private balcony, Nest thermostat, smart TV with Airplay, self check-in, and high-speed Wifi
Location:
- All within walking distance: coffee shops, multiple parks, BYOB sushi & Thai, grocery & convenience stores, breweries, and countless bars & restaurants
Parking:
- Free street parking is occasionally available along Damen Ave which conveniently runs adjacent to the building
- Additional street parking is often available on Iowa St but requires a city sticker, plus a designation for zone #168 added to the sticker. City sticker costs $95/year for standard passenger vehicles and adding a zone number costs $25/year
- We will generate a rental lease for you to use in your application. The sticker will be mailed to the building and typically arrives in 1-2 weeks. More info is available here: ezbuy.chicityclerk.com/vehicle-stickers
Other things to note:
- The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a walk-up building which does not have an elevator, and stairs are required in order to access the building. - The Nest thermostat allows temperature changes within set ranges: set to Heat mode and adjustable between ~65-74 degrees in cool months and set to Cool mode and adjustable between ~68-78 degrees in warm months (specific ranges are subject to change)

House Rules:
1. No parties, gatherings, or commercial uses
2. No smoking ($150 fee)
3. Quiet time after 10pm
4. Authorized guests only, and no booking on behalf of others
5. $40 charge for unreturned keys
