We've been at our apartment since 2015. We love our place and the neighborhood, but HATE dealing with Peak Properties. Property management is responsive when it comes to "fixing" things, but every "fix" we ever needed is half-assed, at lowest cost, and often doesn't solve the problem. The building maintenance guy has an ADDITUDE every single time he comes by. In the winter, the snow clean up crew often doesn't show up until late afternoon. In the summer the "lawn" maintenance team shows up to mow bare lawns, because most of the grass is gone (and has been gone for years). We've gone through a number of days were water in the building has been shut off for a repair, with no notification - and I don't even mean advance notification. Resigning the lease is a hassle each year - from random rent raises that are not uniform throughout the building, to random fees popping up for "building maintenance" that are normally covered by the rent. Most of the tenants in our building have been long-time tenants, and they all complain about the same issues. We've been here so long because we love our place and don't want to look for something else. But whenever we are ready to move on, we will for sure stay as far away from Peak Properties as possible.
