I have only been here for a little bit now, but I’ll say that the list of things I love far outweighs the list of things I don’t care for. I’ll even start with the bad — there is a pretty strong smell on the outdoor dog walk and ground floor trash room. Keep in mind, you could entirely avoid both of these with no real issue. Aside from that, the traffic noise can get a little bad when someone is doing a ridiculous speed on 75, but it is much better than other places in the area. Now for the good. The staff here is amazing. They are so helpful and go out of their way to help with small things. I’ve felt so welcome from day 1, and many staff members know me by name. The apartment itself is incredibly beautiful. Having seen most of the buildings in the Dallas area, the rooms at the Ardan are not comparable. If you care about apartment aesthetics above all else, you can stop looking. It doesn’t get better in Dallas. Not until you are paying AT LEAST a couple thousand more. The bathrooms are spa-level and this is one of the very few buildings in Dallas with true floor-to-ceiling windows. Finally, the spa and pool are amazing — you will find that people you stopped talking to will suddenly want to be over at your place all the time. Overall, you can not do much better than the Ardan considering location, price, and all of the great benefits that come along with living here.

The building is old and we run into issues to do with an old/un-upgraded building. Moreover, all repairs are ad-hoc bandaids. The rest is good.

I have lived in this apartment with my daughter, her husband and my granddaughter since 2009. We have been generally satisfied with the unit, the maintainability, and the location.
