Just okay

I have been in this building for several years. I love the layout of my apartment and the location is good. The maintenance staff I see on a regular basis, like Manuel and Mario, are very nice and quick to respond to any issues. However, I'm not sure what's going on at the higher level and am unimpressed by the higher levels of management. It is very disappointing to have my rent to go up every year when I'm one of the only tenants in this building who is not in an updated unit. I'm not sure where CAM fees are going since not much is done in terms of community maintenance. Our hallway carpet was reinstalled, but taped down at the edges, which makes no sense and may present a real hazard to someone one of these days. The laundry room is always a mess lately due to inconsiderate tenants, and my request to the property manager to have the laundry table we used put back went completely unacknowledged. I wish management was more invested in making this a genuinely nice place to live instead of doing the bare minimum, especially for longer-term tenants like myself who have tried to make this their home.
