The location of this apartment is excellent, just blocks from the Lincoln Park Zoo and Conservatory. The apartment (418 W Belden) has tons of natural light in the unit. The only amenity is a storage unit in the basement, but it is nice. Maintenance is prompt. No parking included, but street parking is hard everywhere in Chicago. I've lived here for 2 years, and am resigning for a 3rd year. The location is just too perfect to give up.

I love this building, despite the parking difficulties and not soundproof walls (to be expected in an apartment building). The location is 10/10 and everyone at Local by Laramar is so responsive and helpful with anything you may need.

Lived at this location for almost 2 years and it is really the best combination of location and value. Few blocks from the park and lake but also close to convenient bus lines and the L. Staff have been great too.

I have loved living here but you are mostly paying for location. The apartment is cozy but has its issues with plumbing and such. It's also hard to get a hold of the main office at times. Maintenance is great! Bob always does a great job.

I have lived at my location for 7-8 years. My neighbors are college students (I'm assuming) due to how noisy they are. They're fine at points but they love stomping, jumping and wearing high heels at all times of the day. I work remote so it is hard to talk to clients with the amount of noise. Whenever we need maintenance to unclog a drain, etc., they always are there within a couple of days. Very on it, which I appreciate. There were times when management wouldn't give enough heads up when water was going to be down or we wouldn't have any washers/dryers for a week due to replacing them, However, that was only like 2-3 in the years I've lived there. Overall, I am happy with the company.
