Replacement of amenities

With the rise of rent I would appreciate if it was offered to me to replace certain aspects of the apartment (new fridge, stove, etc).

Great apartment, Great Management

The apartment was renovated very soundly, with quality craftmanship. The management has been extremely fast in responding to requests. I'm extremely happy with the unit one year in!

Property Declining

Seemingly trumped-up fees are regularly assessed while Peak does bare minimum to maintain the property -- in part because their staff can't handle all the properties in its portfolio. One example: During winter after a snowfall, it regularly takes at least 8 hours until someone comes by for 10 minutes to do minimal shoveling and throws down huge rocks of salt everywhere. Old washers and dryers in basement are often broken and last time I submitted a work order, the repair vendor TEXTED + EMAILED ME DIRECTLY to set up his visit/let him in the basement. Yet, the property manager insists that I pay an additional $35/mo. property fee as newer tenants in rehabbed units pay $15/mo. This random inequity is unacceptable.
