So far i am enjoying living in this apartment. There is a lot of natural light and lots of space. The only big draw back is no central air and the window air conditioning unit in the second bedroom does a poor job of cooling the apartment.

I love living so close to the park, the train, and all the shops on Milwaukee Ave! My place is the percect size for us all and we have loved the natural sunlight throughout the apartment.

After living here for almost half a year, and going through 3 seasons of summer, fall, and now getting into winter, the area of Wicker Park around Milwaukee from Armitage to Division is a lively, diverse, and beautiful corner of the city. The apartment itself is in the perfect location as well. Neighbors are friendly, and you are always less than a 10-min walk away from somewhere that you want to go.

I just moved to Wicker Park one month ago. The location of this apartment is everything I would have hoped for - close to the Damen stop, restaurants, shops, and bars! When we first moved in the lock would often get jammed and after maintenance tried greasing the doors twice, they replaced the lock. Their communication was not the best, but we appreciated them fixing the problem in a timely manner. Although common in some Chicago apartments, to access the laundry room we have to go outside. Not to mention, there are only two washers and two dryers for the whole building.

I have lived here for a year. As a newcomer to Chicago I wasn't sure what to expect. The location is definitely the best thing about the apartment, with views of wicker park from the windows, a 5 minute walk to the train, and Milwaukee and Division a stones throw away I couldn't imagine a better spot for living, commuting to down town and going out. The Wicker Park neighborhood is also incredibly beautiful. The historic houses that surround the park and are in the historic district are incredible and fun to walk around and explore. The apartment also has great light and the living room/ dining room area provide ample space for gathering mediating the issue of smaller bedroom spaces.

I've lived in this apartment for nearly 3 years. At the beginning of my third renewal, the original building owners sold the building to a new owner who uses Peak Property as the management company. Overall, the place is really great (besides some noise from the train) and the apartment has been well kept by the previous owners. The biggest negative is that the new owner has been renovating the unit right below the one I'm in currently, and didn't take precautions to contain the dust, so a cloud of dust filled my apartment and settled, causing me and roommates to not be able to live in our place for 2 weeks during the Covid pandemic before they brought in a cleaning crew. Communication with the owner has been difficult, opaque, and touch-and-go during this unfortunate preventable circumstance, and I have not gotten a lot of answers. The property manager has been pretty good about trying to keep us updated, but lawyers have gotten involved now which has made things more stressful.
