I would strongly encourage anyone considering Artisan Station Apartments to look beyond the surface-level reviews. My experience living here has been extremely disappointing and, at times, frustrating. Communication from management has been inconsistent and often unhelpful. Concerns and maintenance requests either take far too long to be addressed or are handled with minimal effort, leaving issues unresolved. There seems to be a lack of accountability when it comes to resident concerns. Additionally, the overall environment does not reflect what is advertised. Cleanliness, upkeep, and attention to detail in shared spaces have been below expectations. It often feels like appearances are prioritized over actually maintaining a comfortable living experience for residents. Another concern is the reliability of reviews. Many of the recent positive reviews do not seem to reflect the reality that current residents experience, which makes it difficult for prospective tenants to get an honest understanding of what living here is really like. Overall, I would not recommend this property based on my experience. There are better-managed communities in the area that offer more transparency, responsiveness, and value for the price.

This is my second apartment here, and I do enjoy the community and the area. My concerns come from a few interactions that made me feel unfairly treated despite always paying rent on time. When I transferred to a larger unit, my girlfriend—who travels often and also maintained a residence in Los Angeles—would occasionally stay with me and have packages sent to my address. When I asked about officially adding her to the lease, I was suddenly asked for her income, even though I had already been approved for the apartment on my own. That was the first time I felt like I was being treated as a problem tenant. Later, the water leak in my locked closet happened three times. I tried using my insurance, but the office wouldn’t speak with them, even though I was told insurance was my only option for compensation. That left me confused because the process they directed me to couldn’t move forward. I asked about direct compensation and was told no. It was suggested that maintenance might start monthly checks, but I never received the follow-up call I was promised. Instead, I received a letter about my support animal saying a cat fee was due and that the doctor letter I provided wasn’t acceptable. Under the Fair Housing Act, a licensed professional’s letter is usually all that’s required for an Emotional Support Animal, and pet fees cannot be charged. Despite that, the fee stayed on my account until my doctor completed a custom form—something outside normal ESA guidelines. We complied anyway. A maintenance tech did check in recently on his own, which I appreciated. Still, the communication and follow-through around these issues have been inconsistent. I genuinely like living here, which is why I returned, but I hope the support and communication match the quality of the community moving forward.

Complex has a great location. Staff is excellent. Unfortunately a lot of discourteous neighbors who refuse to pick up pet waste and are very loud. Despite a truly excellent maintenance staff this contributes to shabby looking grounds.

Guests takes up too much parking. Every apt should have one assigned parking and the second spot is open parking. Guest parking should be labeled and enforced.
