The fact that the garage gate lever on both sides has been broken for months now (causing security issues with cars just following behind another resident's car) and car break ins in the supposedly secure garage (without any compensation/or even attempt at compensation for the residents that were affected are just the more salient security issues. There has also been a lack of proactive communication from management regarding changes in management, when/where maintenance projects are being conducted (which significantly affects daily routine), how to navigate getting IN our actual building when festivals are going on (until a resident speaks up and reminds the managers that all residents should be aware of how to get special street passes, etc), and why police cars are all of a sudden crowding our driveway (ended up being an actual murder?!). All of these factors contribute negatively to living in this complex that is supposedly advertised as "luxury living", for which the residents are paying way too high of rental prices and community fees.

We have loved living at MAA Piedmont Park! Max in the office has always been helpful and friendly. Sadly, there is alot of turnover in maintenance. Our roof has leaked off and on since we moved in seven years ago. But the maintenance team is always there to help. It is a great place to live!

I've lived in this property for 8 years and mostly love it. The location can't be beat. From my door to the gate at the airport, it can be as short as an hour. Parking here is guaranteed. The property staff are kind, reliable and trustworthy. Maintenance addresses issues quickly. Generally the place is quiet, barring planned park festivities and parades when the whole neighborhood gets expectedly rowdy. Things I dislike-perpetual roof leaks. In the two units I've lived in over 8 years, I think there's been at least 10 leaks which MAA has not sufficiently addressed yet. Also, the property has no dedicated package storage area accessible whenever residents like, which differs from more modern rental properties. Amenities are blah-no pool, hot tub. Lastly, and this may be generational/ sign of sick society--no sense of community with co-residents. This may be due to abilty for renters to rent very short term.

I moved here from out of town during the start of the pandemic. The security of the location and staff has been impeccable. I would recommend this property to anyone. It’s a great place to live!

The location is good, but the building is a bit lacking in amenities for residents. There is only one working car charger, the parking garage needs to be cleaned, there is no reliable package room
