We came to look at the apartment with my son and his pregnant wife from Georgia. They fell in Love with unit and decided they wanted to make there, but they couldn't move right to do baby was Due in November, Estefany Boyett was the sales associate she told she hold this specific unit for up to 60 days and that was perfect, we had enough time to have the baby and move. My son filled application right away, thet required him to get renters insurance, and paid for application fee $500 and fee for his dog. Now were in middle of December and having a new born baby he was getting concerned that no communication was made from Estefany or Staff. He reached to Estefany and she said she proof of funds. He sent immediately ( he had in his savings enough to cover rent for the next 36 months). No communication from Estefany or anyone from Novel. Afters 2 weeks goes by we getting really worried because he rented his House out and must move out by January 3rd. After making numerous phones calls and emails she finally replies and asks for pay stubs , he provided pay stabs and that wasn't enough she asked for the CEO of the company to call and verify of his employment (he makes 4 times more than rent), we provided that and that wasn't enough. making story short, my upset because he had to move out of his home in Georgia and Homeless with newborn. (of course he stayed with us). He requested to speak with someone above her. She told us to call Monday morning manager will be in the office. Manager Crystalynn Embroski calls and says that the unit he was interested in he will not be able to rent that unit and really no good explanation, but she offered a cheaper unit which he wasn't interested in, they only wanted that one because of 15ft ceilings. Had the worst experience ever he bought a car $200,000 G-wag with no problems but renting this apartment was a nightmare.

I’ve lived here several years and have loved it, but something seems to have changed over past 3-6 months. I can only speak to my own experience and preferences, but it just seems that the hallways are now always cluttered with whole foods carts - there are messes trailing in and out of people’s units, people leaving open trash in shared spaces. It’s an embarrasing look when guests of mine point this out to me on separate visits with weeks in between. Do something about this, please. The texts dont work and to be honest, those carts are a fire hazard and would be a big liability in an emergency. On a staff side, I’ve had a bad experience with an associate at the front desk with a bad attitude and a ‘not my problem’ mindset. That associate might nit be responsible for the communith experuence, but they certainly do not represent your company in a friendly, professional manner. My experiences with maintenance requests feel like the biggest concern has shifted to getting me to write a positive google review rather than addressing the request i submitted. None if this ‘off the charts’ bad, but if i were management here, i would want to know that this was the experience one of my long term residents was having. Like i initially said, I’ve loved living here and have made that clear in prior reviews, which is why i feel very comfortable voicing this disappointment of late.
