Gates are open all the time, just the fact that anybody can come in to the apartment complex makes me insecure, the apartments next door Hudson at East have control acces, buildings need maintenance like pressure washing, they look moldy on the outside. Better apartment cleaning, mine wasn't moving in ready. Other than that it's quiet and no a bad place to live. I havent got the chance to check the ammenities yet.

Eight at East was a breath of fresh air housing community when we first arrived nearly three years ago. Unfortunately, new management has arrived and driven away a lot of the qualities we appreciated from before. Although the community is relatively new, the common areas are hardly ever kept clean or maintained, there is significant trash build up at pet and dump sites, maintenance availability/communication is difficult at best, amenities covered by community fees are either not functional or limited, and there is dog poo everywhere. I do want to give credit to the staff for being extremely friendly and helpful where they can be. Overall, the community is aesthetically nice and the value is somewhat reasonable, given the market, but the increasing rent prices cannot be justified for a worsening living situation

I've been living at Eight for a couple of months now and I have experienced primarily good things. The only thing that I wish were different were guest spots within the complex that could exist in the back of the complex with the existing excess parking.

I feel content and safe living here , it has been an experience The amenities are awesome , the maintenance team is on point , the staff is nice, plus the volleyball court is a plus. It is a bit pricey but in the long run (as long as you have a roomate) is worth it.

I moved into this complex about two months ago and it's so far been pretty good. The neighbors have been friendly enough, the location is tucked out of the way but still close to Avalon, and the staff has been responsive fairly quickly whenever there's been a problem.
